Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Steel Fabrication Grinder for a company based in Cullman, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a fast-growing structural steel manufacturer.

Work hours include Sunday 11pm–7am and Monday–Friday 9pm–7am. Duties include inspecting finished materials, lifting and positioning with an overhead crane, setting up grinding and related tools, and reviewing blueprints to determine methods.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Previous work-related skills, knowledge or experience.
• Proficient communication and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently or with a team.

• Setup, operator or tend grinding and related tools that remove excess material from surfaces, sharpen edges or corners.
• Mark and tag identification parts.
• Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods.
