Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Flux Core Welder in Cullman, AL to fabricate and assemble pipes into customized structures. You will read blueprints, determine materials and required tools, and secure components while maintaining quality as specified by customers.

This full-time position offers a dayshift or nightshift schedule, weekly pay, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have welding experience (Flux Core).
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work.
• Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specification.
• Upholds accurate records of materials used on “ticket”; locates and pulls required materials from inventory.
• Utilizes a variety of hands tools, saws, and cutting equipment and performs other related duties as assigned.
• Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions.

Flux Core Welder – Cullman, AL

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Flux Core Welder for a company based in Cullman, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipes to create a variety of customized structures.

Pay Rate

$18+ (based on experience)

Schedule and Hours

Dayshift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm/5:30pm

Nightshift: Sun:11:00p-7:00a / Mon-Thur: 9:00p-7:00a

Flux Core Welder Duties and Responsibilities
