Weld Automation Personnel Services

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a skilled Welder for a company based in Jemison, AL.

Pay Rate

$20.00

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am until 4 30 pm. Fridays 6:00am until 2 30pm Saturdays- as needed

Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines, adjust voltage and wire feed settings, and gather needed materials.
• Weld metal parts and components used in industrial washers, pressure vessels, tanks, or fabricated assemblies.
• Grind, sand, and clean welds to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure, mark, and layout materials according to specifications.
• Assemble and fit metal components, structures, and equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, drills, and measuring instruments.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using tape measures, calipers, and other precision

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a MIG and TIG and TACK welder.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural drawings.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Experience using measuring devices and fabrication tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Full-time: Temporary to Hire
