You will perform preventative maintenance on diesel and gas generators, read schematics and manuals, and document service reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel or gas engines and generator maintenance.
• Experience working with power generation equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Generator Maintenance — Perform routine service, inspections, and preventative maintenance on diesel and gas-powered generators.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting — Identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Repairs & Overhauls — Repair or replace components including alternators, voltage regulators, wiring, fuel systems, and engine parts.
• Load Testing — Conduct load bank testing to ensure generator performance and reliability.
• Documentation — Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and parts usage records accurately.
