Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an on-site technician to perform in-house service and repair of Industrial Gears products, focusing on reducer repair, inspections, cleaning, assembly, testing, and related tasks. The role requires a mechanical technical degree or equivalent experience and the ability to read blueprints.

Expect wage range of $20–$23 per hour, with a 10% shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Company-provided benefits start Day ONE, supporting health, retirement, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Technical Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must have mechanical aptitude required to assemble gear drives and motors
• Ability to follow instruction, written and verbal.
• Ability to use gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, assembly and testing of power transmission products
• Generate list of parts for replacement and reports of inspections
• Use of measurement tools to ensure parts are within specifications
• Perform testing of Electric Motors and/or Control Instrumentation e.g.: pressure, flow, temperature instruments.
• Perform and / or coordinate service on SEW-EURODRIVE IG products on site and in the field.
