Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Roseville, MN is seeking a Cylinder Handler to join our 1st shift. You will process and inspect gas cylinders, ensure accurate quantities and product types, and support warehouse transfers while operating scales and forklift equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in a plant/manufacturing setting, with a strong mechanical background and solid leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in plant/manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Excellent leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and input into the computer of quantities, styles and products filled to justify stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.
