Job summary

Linde plc in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a cylinder technician to process medical and industrial gas cylinders, inspect for retesting or repairs, and load/unload products from the weekly shuttle truck.

You will operate cylinder scales, maintain quality-control documentation, and use forklift and other plant vehicles. A high school diploma and 1+ year manufacturing experience are required, with a strong mechanical background and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Must possess leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs (visual, physical, odor tests).
• Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck and fill as needed.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities into the computer.
• Complete and maintain quality-control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
