Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Cylinder Handler to load and unload gas cylinders onto route trucks, move cylinders with a forklift, and support inventory accuracy. You will sort empty cylinders, review orders, load products for delivery, perform basic cylinder maintenance, and assist with shipment paperwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in a manufacturing setting are required; strong mechanical instincts and solid communication,

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year experience in a plant or manufacturing setting.
Strong mechanical background preferred.
Must demonstrate leadership, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and by forklift.
Sort empty cylinders by type and verify quantities, styles and product specifications for inventory accuracy.
Review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products for delivery.
Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area.
Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments.
Complete both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed.
