Job summary

Forklifts Group – New York is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain forklifts and related equipment at customer sites. You will prioritize work orders and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 2+ years in service, hydraulics and diagnostics experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role includes a company van, tools, PPE, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair field issues to minimize downtime.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools to repair parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Provide quotes and communicate services to customers.
• Maintain daily status updates and complete paperwork.
