Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. is seeking a Smart Services Technician II to maintain client fluids, including coolants and washes, and support on-site operations in Fort Wayne, IN.

This role focuses on preventive maintenance, data entry, and immediate response to testing results to ensure product quality and process reliability. You will operate decantation systems, handle drums, and work with site leadership to follow safety procedures while contributing to customer-facing service excellence in a global

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Standing and/or walking for approximately 4-8 hours daily.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment related to lubricants and/or laboratory testing preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to navigate the internet and email.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk 4-8 hours daily.
• Previous forklift experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform routine preventive maintenance on lubrication and fluid decantation systems, including filter changes and system cleanings.
• Input data daily and generate performance reports.
• Handle materials, operate lift trucks, and move drums and totes.
• Make fluid corrections as needed based on testing results in the absence of the site leader.
• Follow procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements.
• Participate in daily communication meetings with site supervisor and communicate effectively.
