Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. in Alamance, NC, is seeking a Smart Services Technician II for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM). The role focuses on care and maintenance of industrial fluids, including coolants and wash fluids. Compensation is $19 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a global organization.

The candidate will operate fluid systems, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in daily site communications, while adhering to safety and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 4–8 hours daily.
• Previous forklift experience is desired.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or lab testing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate lubrication and fluid decantation systems and perform routine maintenance.
• Input data daily and generate performance reports.
• Handle materials, operate lift trucks, and move drums and totes.
• Make fluid corrections based on testing results in the absence of the site leader.
• Follow procedures and adhere to customer and safety requirements.
• Participate in daily communications with site supervisor and team.
