Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. in Bucyrus, OH, seeks a Technical Coordinator to support the FSS team in maintaining client fluids and driving safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include daily team meetings, inventory management, data entry and reporting, data trend analysis, and participation in audits. Some hands-on duties like sampling and lift truck operation may be required. 3–5 years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or Supervisory Certification in an Industrial or Laboratory Field.
• 3-5 years' experience working in manufacturing environment related to lubricants and/or laboratory testing preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, blueprints, safety manuals and write routine reports or customer correspondence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to solve problems while working with site personnel and customers.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office - Excel, Outlook, Word.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and document daily meetings with customer team to review safety initiatives, potential noncompliance, daily team objectives and individual roles.
• Maintain inventory of chemical products and place order requisitions based on consumption trends.
• Input data daily and generate performance reports.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, outliers and corrective actions.
• Communicate actively with customers, the team and other stakeholders to exceed customer expectations.
• Drive improvement projects based on trends and data analysis.
• Participate in Quality Audits with Support Personnel as well as assist/follow up in completion of Audit/Corrective Actions.
• Be able to occasionally perform hands-on work as required including sampling, testing, lift truck operation, etc.
