Job summary

Allied Universal in Carrollton, KY is seeking a Security Officer Fire Response Driver to protect client sites in chemical/petrochemical environments. This full-time driving role requires a valid driver’s license and firefighting experience, with you patrolling premises, responding to incidents, and supporting fire response activities.

You will work daytime shifts, with a hourly pay of $25.00, and you’ll gain access to Allied Universal’s training, safety programs, and benefits while contributing

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a chemical/petrochemical facility environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including building exteriors, perimeter, entry points, parking, and support spaces.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and potential hazards to site contacts and leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications as required.
