Job summary

Allied Universal in Mount Vernon, IN, is seeking a Security Officer Fire Response Patrol Driver to protect facilities and contribute to a safe, compliant environment. This unarmed driving role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

You’ll perform regular patrols at chemical/petrochemical sites, monitor access, document activities, and work a day schedule with some overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required per company policy.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted under applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where legally permissible.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking, and perimeters.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual activity.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports in line with requirements.
