Alliance Machine Systems International LLC, part of Barry-Wehmiller, seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to deliver project management, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support across Alliance equipment. You will train customer staff and pursue product improvements with a focus on reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include on-site installations, system troubleshooting, PLC/HMI work, and coordinating schedules.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/GED minimum; technical degree preferred.
• 1–3 years supervising, installing, and maintaining material handling equipment.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, PLC background; willing to travel ~75%+.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer sites for service, installation, and training.
• Install equipment and interface with production line machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical/control systems and perform audits.
• Provide on-site customer support and professional communication.
• Lead on-site projects and develop installation/training schedules.
• Document work, provide process improvement feedback, and support QA.
