Job summary

IES is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for a range of industrial equipment across client sites. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, installing new machinery per client specifications, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in industrial field service, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, with a focus on industrial machinery or equipment.
• Experience with a broad range of industrial systems (e.g., motors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulic systems, PLCs) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Equipment Maintenance & Repair: provide hands-on maintenance and repair for industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, compressors, HVAC systems, conveyors, and other machinery.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: use diagnostic tools to identify faults and perform repairs or installations on-site.
• Customer Interaction & Service: serve as primary contact for clients, communicate issues and repair plans clearly, and provide training and support on equipment operation.
