Job summary
North American Construction Services, Ltd. in Mobile, AL seeks a permanent Field Service Technician to join our team.
You will assist engineers onsite, providing electrical and mechanical support during troubleshooting or commissioning and help with shop tasks when not in the field. The role requires hands-on experience, the ability to read drawings and develop BOMs for costing, and a willingness to travel up to 80%.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial process control or related field.
- Electrical competency and hands-on mechanical/electrical work experience.
- Ability to read drawings and develop BOMs for costing.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% and work both field and shop tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist Engineers onsite as second technician on more complex service work.
- Support field service with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting during commissioning.
- Assist with fuel train assembly, testing, and shop tasks when not in the field.
- Join site crews during installation stages to gain experience and support Engineers.
- Support external and internal sales opportunities.
