Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. The role involves reading electrical schematics, working with 200–440V equipment, and performing preventive maintenance in a field setting.

Travel to customer locations up to 20% and availability for occasional overtime are required. A technical degree is preferred but not mandatory; strong hands-on experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, HVAC systems, manufacturing equipment, or pumps.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience working with 200–440V electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service cooling equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and replace faulty parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; read technical drawings.
• Test equipment and verify proper operation after repairs; complete service reports.
