Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. You will read electrical schematics, replace components, and perform preventive maintenance while delivering professional customer service in the field.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, and can travel to customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on repair/maintenance experience with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment including HVAC, manufacturing equipment, automation systems, pumps, or compressors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, service, and repair cooling equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on equipment.
• Replace faulty components such as motors, sensors, relays, switches, actuators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
• Document service reports after each visit.
