Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. You will work with electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and replace components to ensure optimal operation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical equipment, knowledge of 200-440V systems, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, HVAC systems, manufacturing equipment, automation systems, compressors, pumps, generators, or similar machinery.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience working on 200-440V electrical equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, service cooling equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and replace faulty parts.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
• Test equipment and verify operation after repairs; complete service reports.
• Provide professional customer service while onsite and travel to customer locations as needed.
