Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support industrial equipment and controls in Addison, IL. You will travel to customer sites to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair custom equipment, while also documenting procedures and updating manuals.

You will train customer personnel, build strong relationships, and identify service opportunities. A background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, plus 2+ years in field service, is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance, field service or industrial experience on equipment.
• Able to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• BS, AAS or technical cert in electronics/engineering; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across electrical, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
