Job summary

P&E Constructors, LLC is a field-focused mechanical and electrical contractor delivering large industrial projects since 1946. The Field Engineer supports planning, execution, and closeout, coordinating submittals, RFIs, schedules, changes, and cost forecasts with project teams to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality goals.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of project controls, schedules, and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and quality requirements for project execution.
• Develop and implement project engineering processes (submittals, RFIs, document control).
• Support Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) planning with field teams.
• Provide technical support, constructability review, and issue resolution.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout records.
• Coordinate schedules, progress measurement, and budget tracking.
