Job summary

JLL is seeking a Utility Person to support an on-site manufacturing facility in Brookville, OH. You will perform industrial machine cleaning, waste management, and light building maintenance while assisting the Facility Manager to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Key duties include operating floor scrubbers and other equipment, managing inventory for facilities and production, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse operations, or production support environments.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other mobile equipment with proper safety protocols.
• Knowledge of facility standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25+ pounds and perform extended periods of bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial machine cleaning including pump out and honing of machinery and proper waste disposal.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and industrial vacuums.
• Assist the Facility Manager with light building maintenance (carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.).
• Collect and dispose of production waste, machine chips, filters, and recycling materials per site standards.
• Provide support for inventory supplies for Facilities, Maintenance, and Production.
• Maintain safe, clean work environments and follow safety procedures.
• Provide facility-specific assistance and other general facilities support as requested.
