Job summary

HLBMA LLC is seeking a Facility Technician to independently operate and maintain critical utility and environmental systems in a 24/7 battery manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety with LOTO and PPE.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant maintenance experience, plus the ability to read schematics and work with CMMS/EMS documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational certificate or Associate degree in mechanical/industrial maintenance preferred.
• Boiler Operator License or boiler-related certification preferred where applicable.
• HVAC or mechanical maintenance certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and maintain chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and associated piping and controls.
• Perform routine inspections, operating checks, and preventive maintenance on boiler systems per SOP.
• Operate and maintain compressed air systems and AHUs/RTUs.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control logic to diagnose faults.
• Troubleshoot common mechanical and electrical alarms and faults on boilers, chillers, HVAC, and environmental systems.
