Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Facilities Technicians to maintain and repair building electrical and related systems at the airport. The role involves climbing, working in varied environments, and shift work including nights and holidays.

A journeyman license is a plus, with union representation under IBT and a starting rate noted. Candidates should have 24 months of multi-trade experience (electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, PLC) and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Twenty-Four months experience in multiple trades (electrical, structural, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, PLC).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to climb, lift, and work in varied environments on airport properties.
• Valid state driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building electrical systems including 480V 3-phase.
• Read and follow wiring schematics and perform installations and repairs.
• Work around clock shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Operate around outdoor weather conditions on airport grounds.
• Schedules are bid and awarded according to seniority.
