Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician – Building Engineer to support building systems and electrical maintenance at one of our facilities. The role requires overnight availability, climbing, and adherence to union and safety standards.

Starting compensation includes an hourly wage with benefits; candidates should be able to read wiring diagrams and perform high-low voltage repairs. This is a full-time, on-site position with union representation.

Qualifications

• Twenty-four months experience in at least three of the listed areas: Electrical (including 480-volt, 3-phase), Structural, HVAC (building management systems), Mechanical (conveyors), Plumbing, PLC controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical work and safety.
• Read and follow wiring schematics; complete repairs and installations.
• Work around outdoor environments, weekends, and holidays as required; operate within IBT union guidelines.
