Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities; metals or copper knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, EPA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, maintenance teams, and project timelines.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the facility, including buildings, grounds, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facility infrastructure and critical systems.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects with internal departments and external contractors.
• Ensure facility operations comply with OSHA, EPA, local safety codes, and environmental regulations.
• Manage facility budgets, including service contracts, repairs, utilities, and maintenance supplies.
• Supervise and schedule work for in-house maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Monitor energy usage and implement initiatives to reduce utility costs and improve sustainability.
• Ensure facility readiness for inspections, audits, and emergencies.
• Support production by ensuring utilities and infrastructure are available and functioning.
• Maintain records of maintenance logs, inspections, and permits.
