Highland Consulting Group is actively recruiting an experienced Industrial Estimator for a well-organized General Contractor in the Pittsburgh, PA area with focus in piping, structural steel, structural concrete, and industrial structures. The role offers a key position in company growth and immediate filling of the vacancy.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of estimating experience across multiple divisions, with conceptual, takeoff, and bid experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of estimating experience in industrial/general contracting.
• Experience with conceptual, takeoff, and hard bid estimates.
• Strong cost data analysis and risk assessment abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop bid strategies for each project.
• Prepare conceptual and hard bid estimates.
• Create master budgets and cost models for divisions.
• Review drawings and specs for risks and completeness.
• Maintain cost databases and support change orders.
• Assist in preconstruction cost trend monitoring.
