SteelCon Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Estimating Specialist - Industrial Estimator to support our growing project load. You will review drawings, develop precise estimates, and manage material takeoffs while coordinating pricing with vendors and engineering teams.

This role requires clear bid proposals and organized project files to start projects with accurate data. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, and offers competitive annual pay with benefits.

• Strong analytical and numerical aptitude for takeoffs and cost calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for bid proposals and client updates.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and develop accurate estimates and material takeoffs.
• Coordinate pricing with vendors and consult with engineering and field teams.
• Prepare clear bid proposals and organize project files; support scheduling and procurement; draft change order estimates; communicate scope and bids to clients.
