Job summary

Green Key Resources LLC in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong industrial construction background to join a respected general contractor. You will develop budgets, review drawings, and prepare detailed estimates for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.

Collaborating with project managers, preconstruction teams, and suppliers, you will identify value engineering opportunities, collect subcontractor bids, and help position

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience with industrial projects.
• Experience with Commercial or Industrial General Contractors preferred.
• Experience estimating manufacturing facilities, warehouses, or distribution centers.
• Strong understanding of industrial construction methods and estimating principles.
• Familiarity with design-build and preconstruction processes preferred.
• Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates.
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop scopes of work and identify potential scope gaps.
• Collaborate with project management and preconstruction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks.
• Prepare bid packages and assist with proposal submissions.
• Maintain estimating files, bid documents, and historical cost information.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Support projects throughout the preconstruction and estimating process, including design-build opportunities.
