Job summary

Marlen International Inc. in Riverside, MO, seeks a Technical Support Specialist to diagnose equipment issues across the product portfolio and guide customers through resolution. You will work with Engineering, Field Service, and Parts to ensure timely, effective solutions.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, reading schematics, and coordinating field actions. Travel up to 25% and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, and engineering processes.
• Experience with automation machinery and food processing equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLC-based control systems and industrial automation.
• Technical writing and documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with timely and effective support for technical inquiries and equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and equipment performance issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate resolution of customer issues with Engineering, Field Service, Parts and other internal resources.
• Create, manage, document, and close technical support cases in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate field changes and corrective actions, defining scope of work and driving to completion.
• Travel up to 25% as required and provide after-hours support when needed.
