Job summary

BDS Tire Recycling, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our tire-recycling processing equipment. The role includes performing preventive maintenance and occasionally filling in as a Machine Operator.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of maintenance experience, welding/fabrication skills, and a solid understanding of safety protocols. The position requires physical labor, outdoor work, and adherence to PM programs.

Qualifications

• At least two years of related equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate and repair manufacturing equipment and heavy equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Must follow preventive maintenance programs.
• Willingness to learn the tire recycling industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on processing and heavy equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble parts for machinery; perform metal fabrication.
• Inspect, operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment including heavy machinery.
• Maintain clean work area and tools; disassemble and reassemble parts.
• Accurately record and submit required paperwork.
• Follow safety rules and enforce compliance throughout operations.
