Job summary

IEM is seeking a maintenance professional to inspect, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and coordinating with operators, managers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of equipment repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with metal and copper fabrication equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Familiarity with both manual and CNC machine tool installations.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems and recommend repairs.
• Work closely with Materials, Machine operators and Plant Managers.
• Establish relationships with vendors and collaborate on repairs.
• Read and interpret parts and service manuals to recommend repairs.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Complete related paperwork and maintenance logs in CMMS.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Parts ordering and inventory management.
• Collaborate with Facility maintenance techs as needed.
