Begin your career with us at a starting rate of $21.66 an hour, plus a $2 an hour night shift differential. Additionally, we offer a $600 signing bonus after six months of exemplary performance and reliability.

Core Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with production machinery.
• Service and refurbish operational equipment.
• Conduct preventive care on machinery for long-term, efficient operation.
• Carry out routine inspections and scheduled overhauls.
• Ensure precise record-keeping.
• Independently identify problems with production machines and perform necessary part installations.
• Perform machine repairs adhering to safety standards and procedures.
• Facilitate communication across shifts to maintain machine integrity and transfer crucial information.
• Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout protocols.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in manufacturing, focusing on machine upkeep, repair, and installation, including pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated, capable of working both independently and within team settings.
• Ability to comprehend and utilize schematics.
• Familiarity with test devices like multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
• Comprehension of the metric system is mandatory.
• At least one year of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, in workplace or academic environments.
• Familiarity with Omron and Keyence PLC systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Open to working various shifts.
• A mechanical skills assessment is required for consideration.

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates walking, sitting, standing, and manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment. You'll need to climb stairs, maintain balance, kneel, and crouch. Effective communication is a must, and the role requires lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close, distance, and vision, including peripheral and depth perception, and auto-focus capability.
