Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Installation Technician to install, commission, and maintain production equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems while supporting RCAs and continuous improvement efforts.

Expect 5+ years of hands-on industrial equipment experience, PLC familiarity (Allen Bradley/Siemens), and Rockwell tools proficiency. Travel for training and validation may be required; rotating 2-2-3 shift pattern is possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley and Siemens preferred).
• LOTO safety procedures, reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission manufacturing and production equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Read equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and drawings to perform tasks.
• Collaborate with R&D and Process Engineers on equipment improvements.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Attend daily operations meetings and communicate project updates.
