Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Language: Ability to read/interpret safety rules and manuals; write reports; speak to customers.
• Math: Basic arithmetic including rates, ratios, percents.
• Reasoning: Able to follow instructions and solve simple problems.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and listen to the truck to diagnose malfunctions.
• Offer solutions and provide estimates when appropriate.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Record repair details with model/serial numbers and hours.
• Obtain customer signatures and communicate repair needs.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify repairs by test drive.
