• Reads work order and observes truck in operation to diagnose problems
• Provides solutions and estimates when appropriate
• Performs mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis
• Records repair description with model, serial number, and hour meter on the work order
• Obtains customer signature and communicates repair needs or completed work
• Inspects guards, bolts, and safety devices and makes adjustments
• Lubricates moving parts and tests repaired truck to verify conformance
• Represents Equipment Depot to customers and maintains professional appearance of vehicle
• Tracks and communicates with operations or service manager about maintenance or issues
• Returns paperwork daily (work orders, fuel receipts, sublet invoices) and submits time cards by 9:00 a.m.
