Job summary

Richard, Wayne & Roberts is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead field execution for a major industrial EPC project in the Greater Houston area. This on-site role oversees safety, quality, schedule, cost, productivity and overall construction performance.

The successful candidate will coordinate across engineering, procurement, quality, HSE, and project controls, drive a strong safety culture, develop execution plans and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver on schedule and

Qualifications

Strong EPC industry background with industrial construction leadership.
Experience supervising complex energy, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects.
Expertise in construction planning, scheduling, cost control, and field execution.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities and supporting functions.
Drive safety culture and ensure HSE expectations are incorporated throughout field execution.
Develop and maintain construction execution plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, resource plans, and equipment requirements.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Project Controls, and Project Management.
Monitor construction cost, schedule, progress, productivity, and forecasts.
Identify execution risks and negative trends and implement corrective actions.
Provide leadership and direction to field supervision and construction teams.
Maintain effective communication with project leadership and key client personnel.
