Job summary

The Field Construction Manager at Richard, Wayne & Roberts will lead on-site execution for a major industrial EPC project in the Greater Houston area. You will own safety, quality, schedule, cost, and productivity, coordinating closely with HSE, Engineering, Procurement, and client site leadership.

This leadership role requires proven industrial construction experience in EPC environments, strong planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams across field

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on leadership of on-site field teams in large industrial projects.
• Experience delivering EPC projects (energy, petrochemical, or heavy industry).
• Strong HSE culture and incident-free execution track record.
• Proven ability to integrate multi-discipline planning, scheduling and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities and supporting functions.

• Develop and maintain construction execution plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, resource plans, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Project Controls, and Project Management.
• Monitor construction cost, schedule, progress, productivity, and forecasts.
• Identify execution risks and negative trends and implement corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and direction to field supervision and construction teams.
• Maintain effective communication with project leadership and client personnel.

Field Construction Manager – Industrial EPC

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead field execution for a major industrial project in the Greater Houston area. This is a highly visible site leadership role with responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, cost, productivity, and overall construction performance.

The Construction Manager will serve as a key point of coordination between field construction and project functions including HSE, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Project Management, and client site leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities and supporting functions.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure HSE expectations are incorporated throughout field execution.
• Develop and maintain construction execution plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, resource plans, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Project Controls, and Project Management.

Preferred Background

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across multiple project functions.
