Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Deployables unit seeks an Engineering Technician to support continuous improvement efforts at Goleta and Oxnard, CA. The role involves hands-on tasks, 5S, Kaizen projects, and maintaining clean work areas, contributing to safety, quality, and cost goals.

You will travel between Oxnard and Goleta as needed, collaborate with the Industrial Engineering team, and help collect and analyze data from end users.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with minimum 2 years in Industrial Engineering or continuous improvement role.
• Experience managing multiple continuous improvement projects and data collection from end users.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and willingness to travel between Oxnard and Goleta, CA.

Responsibilities

• Performs hands on activities/tasks associated various continuous improvement projects.
• Tasks may include but are not limited to tool control, establishing 5S systems, supporting Kaizen projects, maintaining cleanliness of work area and facilities, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost and scheduling of their team.
