Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Manager of Industrial Engineering to drive medium to large scale process improvements within manufacturing, lead ramp-up efforts, and enhance manufacturability and assembly efficiency. The role combines technical, functional and project leadership across NPI, line development and lean initiatives.

You will manage an IE team, plan production capacity, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize throughput, yield and quality.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an engineering discipline (IE/EE/ME).
• 6+ years of continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and group presentation skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with SAP, SAP HANA, Snowflake and O9 data tools.

Responsibilities

• Functional management of the IE team and manufacturing support.
• Lead industrial engineering projects to improve throughput and quality.
• Plan capacity and drive cost-effective yield improvements.
• Design for assembly, manufacturability and serviceability.
• Coordinate layout and flow for manufacturing buildings and lines.
• Mentor team members and drive a culture of excellence.
