Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Experience with data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving.

• Knowledge of LEAN principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to be flexible in shifting priorities and focusing on critical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement site lean activities such as 5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D to drive out waste and improve productivity.
• Foster professional development of facility Leads, Supervisors, and Managers to drive a CI culture.
• Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts, and flow.
• Lead and track continuous improvement activities through all functional areas, including manufacturing and office.
• Develop detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion of improvement projects and savings goals.
• Design and plan equipment layouts, workflows, and safety precautions to maximize plant utilization.
• Own and manage equipment capital expenditures, including design, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to develop a continuous improvement roadmap.
• Lead creation and enhancement of capacity modeling, production planning tools, and time standards.

Job Summary of the Industrial Engineer: The Industrial Engineer will l ead the identification of issues impeding product flow, applying lean principles to alleviate process bottlenecks and reduce work in progress (WIP). This includes management of the IE operators and technicians, providing direction, and developing their capability and performance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Industrial Engineer:

• Key owner and stakeholder of equipment capital expenditures, including design, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to develop a continuous improvement roadmap driving best-in-class performance

Education & Experience Requirements of Industrial Engineer :

• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
