Job summary

Intellectt Inc is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead a team of Industrial Engineers and Technicians in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses on workforce planning, capacity planning, process improvement, manufacturing layouts, labor standards, and Lean Manufacturing.

You will drive line balancing, time studies, and productivity improvements, develop labor standards, and support NPI and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is required.
• 5-8 years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• 2-5 years of experience leading engineers, technicians, or technical teams.
• Experience with workforce labor planning systems such as Raptor, STATIS, ARCH, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of MOST, MODAPTS, MTM, time studies, and labor standards.
• Experience with capacity planning, line balancing, and manufacturing process improvement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with FlexSim or similar simulation software.
• Experience supporting NPI and manufacturing launches.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Industrial Engineers and IE Technicians.
• Develop labor standards, staffing models, time studies, and workforce plans.
• Perform capacity analysis and resource planning based on production demand.
• Support NPI, production launches, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Perform line balancing, process flow analysis, and productivity improvement.
• Use FlexSim or similar simulation tools to evaluate manufacturing processes.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and workstation evaluations.
• Identify opportunities to improve labor efficiency, throughput, and reduce waste.
• Support CapEx proposals and labor savings/business case analysis.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Facilities teams.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop Industrial Engineering team members.
