Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a Manager of Industrial Engineering to lead operational excellence in our Etna, OH distribution center. You will drive data-led improvements across processes, safety, quality, and associate experience, partnering with facility leadership to set strategy and deliver results.

The role requires Lean Six Sigma background, 5+ years in IE/CI roles, and the ability to influence across levels. On-site work with cross-functional collaboration to shape long-term operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Operation Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating data into insights.
• Proven track record leading continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ability to influence decisions across levels without direct authority.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership.
• Knowledge of distribution center operations and workflow optimization.
• Lean methodology experience; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DC leadership to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Analyze large data sets from multiple systems to identify trends and root causes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, service, safety, and associate experience.
• Facilitate problem-solving using Lean, process mapping, and root-cause analysis.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools for visibility into performance.
• Influence and support organizational change through communication and project leadership.
• Champion continuous improvement culture by building problem-solving capabilities and accountability.
• Evaluate process, automation, and technology opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
• Lead cross-functional projects supporting strategic goals and investments.
• Engage associates in improvement activities and drive organizational capability.
