Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Industrial Engineer to oversee long-term initiatives aligning with program objectives. You will develop project plans, production analyses and workflows while evaluating new technologies for integration into production and service operations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, apply IE concepts, and manage schedules and budgets for significant optimization projects across plant and production lines, ensuring safety standards and ergonomic guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to plan, execute, and monitor engineering initiatives.
• Apply industrial engineering concepts to product, process and service improvements to meet program requirements.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings with leadership and teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets for long-term projects.
• Designs, maintains, and optimizes production systems integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Conduct workflow design and analysis to improve efficiency.
• Develop models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics to leaders and customers.
• Research, design, develop, and implement processes to improve schedule performance, reduce cost, and enhance quality.
