Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking interns and co-ops for its Summer College Programs in Carrollton, GA. The program blends classroom learning with practical project work, lasting 10–12 weeks for interns and 16–18 weeks for co-ops, with a real project and leadership expo.

Pay rate is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with onboarding, mentorship, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation. Begin in summer rotation, with teamwork, presentations, and exposure to enterprise projects across wire

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing an Engineering degree.
• Experience in a team environment is a plus.
• Strong organization, planning and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify alternatives, best practices, and solutions for wire cutting processes.
• Document differences between standard methodologies and proposed solutions.
• Propose SOPs for onboarding of SPDs.
• Participate in wire center shadow days to understand how to optimize workflows.
