Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Engineering intern to join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program in Melbourne, FL. You will support the Production Engineering & Operations (PE&O) organization and interact with users, customers, and other developers in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

The internship offers exposure to multiple engineering specializations, including calibration, testing, drawings, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate STEM degree
• Graduating after August 2027
• Available to work full-time for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship requirement

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
