Job summary

Crystal Group is seeking an Intern, Industrial Engineer to support design, development, and verification of mechanical components and assemblies. You will work under the Director of Facilities in the Operations department, contributing to process improvements and equipment evaluations.

The role emphasizes hands-on analysis of manufacturing processes, ergonomic assessments, and cost-focused improvements, with an on-site work model and a typical Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Must be a US Person (US citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, equipment, and methods for continuous improvement.
• Design, review, and evaluate manufacturing processes for new/existing products including ergonomics and cost improvements.
• Develop capital expenditure proposals and perform cost justifications for new equipment.
• Conduct studies to maximize workflow, material routing, and spatial utilization.
• Provide technical assistance and engineering support for process improvements and root-cause analyses.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions with management support.
