Job summary

Crystal Group, Inc. is seeking an Intern, Mechanical Engineer to support the design and verification of mechanical components and assemblies.

You will work on sheet-metal and machined parts, integrating mechanical and electrical elements into a complete assembly. Responsibilities include using AutoCAD and Inventor for drawings, understanding manufacturing processes, and assisting with capital plans and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D design and CAD tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with FEA/CFD concepts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify mechanical components and assemblies.
• Leverage AutoCAD/Inventor to convert requirements into drawings.
• Support packaging and integration of mechanical and electrical subsystems.
• Provide technical input and mentoring to junior designers/engineers as needed.
