Hormel Foods invites applications for an Industrial Engineer Intern & COOP position in the Austin, MN area with options for other facilities including Dubuque, IA. You will gain hands-on experience supporting facility projects, performing ergonomic surveys, and analyzing operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include layout analysis with AutoCAD, evaluating downtimes, recommending improvements, and collaborating across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities for improvements by performing ergonomic job surveys, analyzing operations, reviewing job loads, and making recommendations.
• Identify improvements to work methods by reviewing the methods and analyzing potential method/design changes.
• Analyze operations and create AutoCAD layouts.
• Evaluate downtimes and methods to increase efficiency.
• Evaluate, recommend and install new equipment and layouts.
